Waking up to the feeling of falling asleep

I'm in a strange state of mind of late. I have no memory. I can remember the past three weeks, sort of, because I've been telling people the stories non-stop for days. Beyond that everything is a giant blank, unless I try to remember something in specific. If I have something to focus on, to look at and try to remember, or if someone brings something up and asks me a question, then I can call it up with some effort. Otherwise there is just the buzzing feeling or being up too late.

Vacation

Well, I;m a couple days back from my cross-country vacation,a nd I must say I had a blast, of sorts. Alot of time to think to myself, and alot of time to talk with strangers about whatever happened to come up. I got to see alot of the country and take pictures of some amazing things. My favorite foot of the trip would have to be Montreal. I loved the feel of the city, the hospitality of the people, and the culture. Maybe it was just the novelty of it all (I'm sure that played a part) but there was something about the city that made me feel very comfortable and welcome there. Toronto I loved as well for many of the same reasons, but even when it was a novelty I still felt like a visitor. Oh well, I had fun none-the-less. A definite highlite of the trip was the ammount of writing I was able to do in my journal. Over the next little while I'm going to try to intersperse individual entries from the trip to give a better idea of what was happening.
As well I had a few definite moments where the creative juices suddenly started to flow, particularly towards the end of my trip, and that is in large measure the source of the new design for teh website. Content is sparse right now, and I'm not sure Lies for the Common Man will be back up. I'm still working on it, but now that I have Word on my computer I can work on the manuscript for the book version wherever I take my computer. With school starting in a week, Iget the feeling that I'll have both more motivation to work on it, and less time. That's the environment where I typically get the most done.
